Kalob's journey in the construction industry began in the small rural farm town in central Illinois, where he was inspired by his family's deep-rooted involvement in the field. Early exposure to construction fueled his passion for the industry. After high school, Kalob felt a strong call to service and joined the military. His experiences during his initial deployment motivated him to pursue greater challenges, leading him to successfully complete the demanding Special Forces Assessment and Selection Course. Upon completing the extensive training requirements, he was awarded the coveted Green Beret.

Throughout his military career, Kalob completed multiple deployments around the globe, supporting U.S. strategic objectives. Simultaneously, he advanced his education, earning a Bachelor's, and Master's in Business Administration from Louisiana State University.

Upon transitioning from Special Forces, Kalob drew upon his unwavering integrity, strong work ethic, and military experiences to establish a construction company. His construction expertise, relentless drive, and commitment to honesty and hard work were instrumental in building a reputable foundation for his business. Kalob lives by the principle, "Do what you say, say what you mean," ensuring that his actions consistently align with his words. His grounded demeanor and steadfast morals and values have earned him the trust and respect of clients, paving the way for his successful entry into the construction industry.

Kalob is a results-driven performer who strives to set the bar higher in everything he does and achieve second-to-none outcomes. The results of his tireless effort are found in the products of Tier One Construction. The unwavering standards and superior results are where he coined the name for the company. This mindset is the attitude and environment that the company strives to live up to daily. 

Outside of work, Kalob enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son. His most important role and greatest joy is being a father. He finds relaxation and fulfillment in outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. He values the tranquility of family time away from the busy city life, wholeheartedly embracing the rewarding experience of fatherhood.
